Are you trying to incorporate new mediums into your practice? Are you trying to expand your art practice by developing new methods and ways of working? In this class we will work from the inside to the outside. We will use deep introspection, research, and writing to examine our desires and ideas. Each artist will share their work and ideas/desires. This class will focus on developing a personalized plan to take your work to the next level. The prompt is intended to challenge and help reinvigorate each artist’s approach and artistic practice. Inside out is an excellent course if you are seeking constructive feedback and fresh perspectives on your work. This course will encourage you to discover new materials, seek new methods of making and dive into new conceptual ventures. After the first 2 classes, there will be a break and no class, but personal meetings the following 2 weeks. The break is to provide artists enough time to respond to their assignment.
